choose your own adventure
For fun I googled my name and found this really flattering article written about a piece I did for OCAD's library. I was inspired by the choose your own adventure novels I so loved to read in grade 6, research process and finding hints of previous readers hidden in the pages of books taken out the library. Such a surprising find.

In other news, I updated things around here and plan to keep at it. I'm working on some new projects that excite me.
Sandra Bernhard Motivates Me
I'm showing right now in the Artwherk! pride group show at *Hotshot gallery. While setting up a rumor went around that Sandra Bernhard might be coming to the opening. Now this might be a wee bit unbelievable if it wasn't for the fact that she's in town right now and the rumor was coming straight from one of the organizer's mouths. His story seemed rather reliable. We all crossed our fingers in unison hoping that she would grace us with her pressence.

After indulging in some rather delicious doubles, I rushed home to create myself a new batch of business cards. I thought, 'what if Sandra Bernhard comes to the show, falls in love with my work and wants to become my friend?! What if she's intrigued by my craftsmanship and wishes to see more! What if she wants to buy my work?! How will show know how to get in contact with me?!!' Obviously business cards were inorder.

So I cut up some old contact sheets, to go along with my handmade, cut and paste stylz. I choose dinosaurs, bright colours, and some brownish/sepia-esque toned sheet (to match the van dykes I'm showing). I turned them over and wrote my usual stats, but as I penned them out, it felt as though something was missing. Not a tinfoil star, nor my stick figure superhero self, but another line of text.... another way for Sandra Bernhard to find me....... A website!

And so to make a long story short, here is my site. Here is my first news update. Here is where Sandra Bernhard can find me.
